Badger TUG

Badger TUG
, the University of Wisconsin-Madison Tableau User Group, fosters community among users of the data visualization software, Tableau.

We are open to Tableau users of all experience levels and invite participation from campus staff, faculty, and students as well as colleagues from other UW institutions. Our goals are to share knowledge, enhance skills, and promote best practices. We offer opportunities to see demonstrations, swap tips, ask for feedback, network with colleagues, and much more. Whether you are just starting out with Tableau, have become a Tableau Jedi, or fall anywhere in between, this is the group for you.

In addition to meeting four to five times a year, we have organized two email lists. To receive announcements from Badger TUG, including Office 365 invitations to meetings, send a blank email to join-badgertug_announcements@lists.wisc.edu. To participate in conversations with other campus Tableau users about using the software, send a blank email to join-badgertug_discussion@lists.wisc.edu.

The Badger TUG steering committee is currently made up of Jeff Armstrong, Chair (Office of the Registrar), McKinney Austin (Academic Planning and Institutional Research), Ann Bourque (Madison Budget Office), Catherine Breuer (Population Health Institute), and Steve Meyer (General Library System).

Questions about Badger TUG may be sent to badgertug@data.wisc.edu. We look forward to your participation in the campus Tableau community!
