Working very closely with the DM&AS is the UW-Madison Reporting and Analytics Project (UWRAP). UWRAP was started in October 2015 to ensure UW-Madison faculty and staff experience no interruption in their ability to access the data they need to do their work. UWRAP created a smooth transition from current Interactive Reporting (IR) tools to a suite of solutions chosen to replace them: Tableau, the Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) platform and a new PeopleSoft resource called the Data Center.
Throughout 2018, Query Library users will be directed to the new suite of data tools, resources, and solutions to get answers to the questions they need to do their work as those resources and solutions are developed and deployed. This will allow for a gradual transition from our current state to the future.
