Badger Data Network

The Badger Data Network, a vibrant community uniting data, analytics, visualization, and business intelligence enthusiasts, promotes using institutional data to support progress and implement strategic initiatives.

It is the central hub for:

  • promoting the use of available resource
  • discussing best practices
  • fostering communication

The Badger Data Network meets on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 10:00 a.m. via Zoom.

At our next meeting on Wednesday, May 15 the topic is Workday’s structure and tools for reporting. Brad Roll and Kurt McMillen, ATP leaders, will:

  • Summarize the business object models so we more clearly understand data sources and domains.
  • Explain how data is accessed in Workday, emphasizing the difference between completing tasks and viewing the data.
  • Give us a tour of Workday’s various tools, from report writer, dashboards, discovery boards, and more.

This meeting will go until 11 a.m. so our presenters have enough time to share.
