DAPIR serves as the primary contact for most national and international publishers of college guidebooks and organizations that rank institutions of higher education.
The Common Data Set (CDS) is a survey distributed by Kaplan, Newsweek, Peterson’s, Princeton Review, and U.S. News and World Report. These publishers use the CDS to produce college guidebooks and ranking analyses. Each publisher also collects additional data from UW-Madison.
Answers to many commonly asked questions are in the CDS.
