R resources available on campus

Interested in learning R? Or perhaps build on your existing knowledge?  The UW–Madison community provides several resources to help.

The Data Science Hub offers training and recordings of past sessions.

The Libraries provide synchronous and asynchronous learning options. Although the descriptors are framed with researchers in mind, the content is equally relevant to institutional researchers and data professionals.

The Social Science Computing Core (SSCC) offers classes and an online curriculum you can work through on your own.

The newly formed Badger R Users Group (BRUG) is a community of practice for researchers, scientists, and students who code in R. Information about their August in-person meetup is available.
