Thank you for joining our September Badger Data Network gathering, our largest-attended meeting to date. We hope you continue to find these sessions valuable and welcome your feedback as we plan future events.
As noted during the meeting, the fall student enrollment census occurred on the 10th day of instruction, and fall reporting will be available soon.
We also shared updates on the evolving federal legislative landscape:
- Student Tuition and Transparency (STATS).
- Accreditation, Innovation, and Modernization (AIM).
- Reimagining and Improving Student Education (RISE).
In addition, we discussed other federal changes and proposals impacting higher education, including: Curricular Practical Training (CPT) authorization, Duration of Status, and Uniform Guidance.
The University Relations website is an excellent resource for staying informed about these developments. You may also contact DAPIR at dapir@provost.wisc.edu with any questions.
Finally, we shared baseline metrics to monitor the university’s new budget model. The report includes institution-wide measures, such as retention and graduation rates, as well as school and college-level metrics, including PAG, CFI, and overhead allocation. The report will be updated annually and posted on the Madison Budget Office website.
