Event description: A hands-on event where volunteers learn to archive important public datasets. Together, we build a safety net that serves the public interest. 

Training for participants starts at 4 PM, however attendees are not required to stay for the entire duration. There will be food available for those attending in person. Registration is required for in-person and virtual attendees.

This event is a part of UW–Madison’s Love Data Week 2026, which runs from Monday, February 9, to Friday, February 13, and provides an opportunity to explore, share, and celebrate all things data.
