Online Resources for Understanding UW-Madison’s Analytics Strategy and Badger Analytics

The Office of Data Management and Analytics Services along with other partner offices around the university are working hard to deliver exciting changes in the world of institutional data and analytics to campus.

An analytics strategy and major infrastructure updates are underway that will ultimately deliver institutional analytics capabilities and insights far beyond what is currently available to campus users and partners.

In order to help track the progress and keep stakeholders in the loop about changes impacting them, ODMAS has published a variety of resources online. Here readers can learn about how and why UW-Madison has embarked on this journey, what changes and enhancements are planned or are already underway, and what can be expected in the coming months.

Visit our website to read about UW-Madison’s analytics strategy including information about our new data warehouse, Badger Analytics, the cloud migration project, project timeline, Snowflake, the Badger Analytics Council and more.

We encourage everyone to explore our institutional analytics and reporting information and to contact us with any questions.

The first phase of the project may go live as soon as March. However, this phase will have very limited user impact. Additional information about updates and changes impacting users will be made available as we move through the upcoming phases.
