Last month’s IT Professionals Conference featured a presentation about Badger Analytics and the modernization of UW-Madison’s analytics environment. The session, hosted by ODMAS ETL developers Sanjana Aleti and Randy Carey, provided a technical look at UW-Madison’s new institutional data warehouse using the platform Snowflake.
Information covered in the session included the modernization of the environment, the project’s progress to date, the architecture, benefits, and details about the technologies and how they have been leveraged to provide value and unlock previously unimagined capabilities. It also included a walkthrough of Snowflake, IICS, and Tivoli.
